Médico y fisioterapeuta. Doctora por la Universidad  Rey Juan Carlos. Premio a  la mejor tesis doctoral de la Comunidad de Madrid otorgado por el Colegio Profesional de Fisioterapeutas de Madrid. Máster en dolor orofacial y disfunción craneomandibular. Experta en el tratamiento conservador e invasivo del síndrome del dolor miofascial. La temática desarrollada en la tesis se basó en los métodos de representación del movimiento, imaginería motora y observación de acciones.

Award for the best doctoral thesis of the Community of Madrid awarded by the Professional College of Physiotherapists of Madrid. Master in orofacial pain and craniomandibular dysfunction. Expert in the conservative and invasive treatment of myofascial pain syndrome. The topic developed in her thesis was about methods of movement representation, motor imagery and action observation.

Directora y profesora de INDCRAN.  Imparte formación especializada en dolor craneofacial dentro de los programas INDCRAN de formación en dolor cérvico-craneofacial. Por otro lado, forma parte del equipo docente del Máster Universitario en Fisioterapia Avanzada en el Tratamiento del dolor en el CSEU La Salle, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Combina la docencia con su práctica clínica en FisioCranioClinic, dónde se dedica en exclusiva desde hace más de 14 años a tratar pacientes de su especialidad: dolor craneofacial, disfunciones craneomandibulares (ATM) y trastornos neuro-musculoesqueléticos cervicales. Así como a la rehabilitación de pacientes con mareos, inestabilidad y alteraciones del control postural.

Director and professor at INDCRAN. She teaches specialized training in craniofacial pain within the INDCRAN programs for training in cervical-craniofacial pain. On the other hand, she is part of the teaching team of the University Master's Degree in Advanced Physiotherapy in the Treatment of Pain at the CSEU La Salle, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He combines teaching and clinical practice at FisioCranioClinic, where she has been exclusively dedicated for more than 14 years to treating patients in her specialty: craniofacial pain, craniomandibular dysfunctions (TMD) and cervical neuro-musculoskeletal disorders and pain. As well as the rehabilitation of patients with dizziness, instability and postural control disorders.

Es investigadora en los grupos INDCRAN, Motion in Brains del CSEU La Salle dedicado al dolor y el movimiento, y en el Grupo de Investigación del Hospital Universitario La Paz (IdiPaz) en el grupo de neurología en la línea de Cefaleas y Dolor Neuropático. Ha dirigido diversos trabajos de investigación de fin de grado y de máster. Ha publicado más de 40 artículos científicos en revistas internacionales con índice de factor de impacto en las áreas de neurología, rehabilitación, odontología, fisioterapia y dolor. Actualmente sigue desarrollando diversas líneas de investigación relacionadas con las áreas craneofacial y columna vertebral, con la representación del movimiento y el control postural. Además está especialmente interesada en la investigación en el ámbito de la danza, en este sentido dirige una tesis doctoral que involucra a bailarines profesionales.

She is a researcher in INDCRAN, Motion in Brains group dedicated to pain and movement (CSEU La Salle, Madrid), and in the Research Group of the Hospital Universitario La Paz (IdiPaz) in the neurology group in the line of Headaches and Neuropathic Pain. She has directed several end-of-degree and master's research projects. She has published more than 40 scientific articles in international journals with an impact factor index in the areas of neurology, rehabilitation, dentistry, physiotherapy and pain. Currently, she continues to develop various lines of research related to the craniofacial and spine areas, movement representation, postural control and balance. In addition, she is especially interested in the field of dance, in this sense she directs a doctoral thesis that involves professional dancers.
